Website Policy 2009

The first duty of the house is to ensure that every resident in their care is safe and therefore that no individual person can be identified or contacted by visitors to the website. A similar responsibility also applies to staff and to the general security of the premises. The following rules will be adopted by everyone involved in preparing the materials for the website:

  • No names or other identifying information are attached to photographs.
  • The content of pictures is considered for good taste and the dignity of people in the pictures.
  • Personal contributions displayed online will not contain information, such as family names, which might identify that person.
  • Any incident of an image considered inappropriate to the website or these guidelines should be reported to the Director. The person reporting might chose to do so anonymously, but must give reasons why they feel the images or content are not appropriate.
  • Events and trips. General information only.
